Pros
Bi-weekly pay, good benefits. But there are no amount of pros to compensate for how terrible a place Genpact is to work.
Cons
This is the most unorganized, chaotic and demoralizing company I've ever been exposed to. "Home grown" leadership team is inexperienced in their supposed areas of expertise. Indian dominant culture is harsh, rude and inefficient. Lying to employees is a common practice and the general mode of operation. There are so many non-ethical and HR (labor laws) violations it's ridiculous that this company hasn't been taken down. Hiring practices are illegal (they try to screen out certain races by researching candidates online before setting up interviews and they get away with it by calling it "hiring for diversity"). If you are considering working at Genpact, consider EVERY other option you have first, because 60% of what you are told during the interview/hiring process is a lie. If you have to take a job at Genpact try to get out as fast as possible. I read some of the company reviews on Glassdoor when I was considering taking a position at Genpact and I didn't give enough weight to what US based employees said. Reviews from employees in India could make you think that it's a good company with some disgruntled US employees. I can't speak for other US locations, but the Richardson, TX office is a horrible place to work and a large number of employees there are miserable, and it's because if the leadership team and the way employees are treated. Their systems and processes are so inefficient and backwards that it's not uncommon for employees to not get paid for time worked. Think hard before taking any position at Genpact.
