Pros

Not much other than you are offered many opportunities to learn a lot but you can get that at any consulting firm...

Cons

Where to begin? First, they must be paying people for positive reviews because Genpact doesn’t care about their employees. They won’t hire the appropriate number of people for projects and expect people to do the work of about 3. They run you into the ground and that’s the expectation. You work avg 70-80 hrs a week, don’t let them fool you into thinking you will work less. On top of that, the salaries don’t align to working that much. Also, they are out there acquiring companies and hiring more and more VPs, but not giving employees their promotions or annual increases. Oh...and annual increases are about 1% ha! The HR department controls every aspect of the employees. I have never seen an HR dept with so much control and they are very incompetent. Your onboarding experience will not be typical because they are unorganized and you have to basically figure things out on your own. This is by far the worst company I’ve worked for. To the public they showcase how much they take care of their own, but that just shows how out of touch leadership is to what’s actually happening. I know of about 20 people across the globe that left in the last month. Not a good look. Definitely run away from this place!

Some processes can be complex and require coordination across multiple stakeholders, which may occasionally slow decision-making. Priorities can shift quickly depending on business needs.
