Cons
Due to my short term tenure, I couldn't really experience to the fully what is exacty Genpact. Due to the client start date, the pressure to achieve targets and the training provided to get to those results, created confusion and lack of ownership, causing layoffs en masse from the production team, on which I was part off. Imagine starting a brand new project and soon management don't get results people get fired with few to zero reason whatsoever. Office management was poor, a lack of cleansiness due to the incapability to manage a huge team in a poor office space capability. Tension arouse most during the deadline to termination and or extension of the contracts, causing a general sense of disaffection. Lack of leadership and generally professionalism from some of team members. Zero feedback from the supposed leaders, causing massive confusion and lack of direction. Competitions with team members causing fractions and the overall poor results in the first place. Due to the impossibility to went hybrid or remote mode and with rotational shifts, on which were totally made without considering the requests from the team members, causing stress and unstable work/life balance, for ex. The so called wellness program, a total failure due to the number of layoffs occured during the latest stage of the project, didn't help. Lack or zero communication from management causing the work experience to be less than duable, no trusts on the individuals if not on the team itself.
