Pros
- To learn Agile framework which is created that can be used for agile project management. But not all projects may use it though.
Cons
- Lack of clarity from management on business leads, managing future resource projections. - Lack of effective, trustworthy communication from management on harsh decisions. - Lack of matured principled behaviour in following their core values - transparency, openness in dealings. - Lack of respect, and stability for employees (even long serving). - Lack of opportunities to learn and get mentored, an no effective training calendar/plan. - Lack of a common culture within the various bought over companies, and various regions of company. Every region and each Business Unit follows their own way of managing things. - Body shopping at times in the name of product development. - Lack of stability of top management - saw exits of HR head, Resourcing head, Unit head, Delivery head within a year. - While deciding to join I did get feedback that firing is rampant and mismanaged at times. I saw it myself happening with huge # of freshers (approx 60+) in 3 months after they were employed, experienced folks, with employees on projects (in the name of closing complete center at Pune).
