Pros
Culture is good - true flexi timings. Get to work with very brainy and awesome techies. Good projects - a lot to learn. Good for junior folks!
Cons
The growth opportunities cease once you attain the level of a Manager. Future is uncertain and the leadership team's rants do no seem to be believable based on past experiences. In terms of work and technical competencies the company likes to compare its employees with Googles and Microsofts of the world. However, at the time of giving salary increments, the salaries are compared with the Infosys's ans TCS's of the world. If in some cycle, Infy hasn't performed well and does not give increments to its employees, GL gives the example of Infy and gives peanuts as increment to its employees even though it has done wonderful in that cycle in terms of profit margins. At the same time, the CEO and the sales people get hefty cheques as bonuses in that cycle about which they happily tell the people in townhalls! Double standards!! Senior management does not keep its promises and seems to be very confused. They do not listen to the middle management who are more connected to the people on the floor and know their problems well. Overall, a very autocratic senior management who just knows how to save their neck and put all the responsibility, pressure and blame on their subordinates. This is reflected in all their official dealings with subordinates. Not so good for the middle management!
