Pros
The organization has a world-class daily culture, but it is currently overshadowed by volatile business cycles and a de-personalized approach to staff retention. I received multiple awards in project deliverables and in mentoring interns but at the end client who decides the layoffs in the name of budget cuts, thats brutal.
Cons
The recent layoffs felt disproportionately focused on short-term cost-cutting without a comprehensive evaluation of the long-term human impact. This creates a very difficult paradox. It’s confusing and painful when a company feels like a "great place to work" in your daily life, but then acts coldly during a layoff. It feels like a betrayal of the culture you thought you knew.
