Pros

- ok salary (for Russia) - fully remote work - if you apply yourself, you can find opportunities to learn smth new - project was good. No rocket science, simple CRUD stuff, but I liked the people (customer employees, not GD)

Cons

- regardless of what they say about cutting edge technologies it's a plain bodyshop - company motto: "interview, interview, interview" due to the high turnaround they are constantly hiring. And they need someone to conduct endless interviews. And it is expected from you to deliver 8 h on the customer project and then conduct these interviews. They are mandatory. Additional time is not payed for. - and a cherry on the pie is constant lies. At the end of March we were told that GD won't close offices in Russia. A couple weeks later they issued a press release that they long planed to "cease all operations in Russia and it will be done in a few weeks". And here I am at the end of May still working here.

Pros

Grid Dynamics was a FANTASTIC place to work. They essentially function as a resource management company where you will be contracted out to their customer for different projects. It allows for a wide variety of different opportunities.

Cons

The only downside of Grid Dynamics is that you are tied to the viability of the different contracts. While Grid makes every effort to keep you with the company between contracts, if there aren't any contracts with openings then you will be released. However, Grid has a concept of putting people on a "bench" where you get paid while you wait for a new role in a contract.
