Pros

Unlimited PTO, great people, downtown location

Cons

The worst company I've ever worked at. There are always constant changes in the company with little to no update and clarification about anything. When you start training, they automatically make you start calling merchants without any proper training. After 6 weeks of "training" they make you close deals in other verticals that were not learned about/barely touched on. You are in a space where there is an unknown of getting fired. You are told if you don't make deals, you were be placed on a demonstration period. The hire ups DO NOT care about you. There is constant terminations and they are adding new employees. You think you're safe one day and then you're randomly sent a video chat from HR saying your role is terminated due to "end of year performance". They don't get into specifics and 95% sure managers are out of the loop of the decisions HR makes until after the fact. When your deal gets out of your name, it starts to perform well. So odd isn't it? The main focus is Europe for this company so you can see why and how merchants, customers, and former/current employees dislike Groupon. EVERYTHING (tools) for employees is so outdated and and have to constantly submit tickets to fix these issues.
