Pros

The sales staff is nice. They are educated, young, and ambitious to succeed. They have free beverages all day long.

Cons

Inexperienced management. Most have zero management experience. They simply got promoted after 2-3 months of fresh sales experience and treat people like dirt. Goals are set in place that no one reach. They are firing people left and right for no good reason. Cut commissions and eliminated bonuses. Sales staff make about 80% less than they did 5 months ago. Competition is fierce and Groupon is not making changes to counter what perks competition does for merchants. Move desks constantly and disrupts work. Required to work Saturdays. No cap for time off, but make it impossible to take a day off. They make you feel guilty to take a Saturday off to go to a wedding. Sales staff cries all the time. Editorial is unhelpful and rude which makes the job next to impossible. They do not care at all about merchants. They just push the merchants so far that they will never work with Groupon again. Noisy call center environment.
