Most of management cares little about the employees. If they don't like you they will find a way to let you go, even if you are doing your job well. They have fired people who were on medical leave. Management makes the decision to eliminate a job position, which in turn lets several people go, than a couple months later, that position is brought back. Senior management has their own family working there, how is that not a conflict of interest? As long as you are keeping to yourself, and burrowing your head into your computer, you are gold. If you have a mind of your own, management considers you to be an enemy to the company.
