Pros

From least importance to high importance: Comped Lunch Steady Hours (w/ overtime if location is hectic) Acquire Versatile Skills Interesting People Outstanding Orientation Professional and Competent Upper & Middle MGMT Supportive Human Resources Diversified Employment EOE

Cons

From least importance to high importance: Lack of Corporate Culture and Goodwill Union Dues (unnecessary expediency) Unreliable gratuities policies. Starting Pay rate is minimum and is not DOE Grumpy Patrons Inadequate Incentives Faceless corporate At Will Employment Lack of Cohesion Among Coworkers A sense that I could be replaced or my position could be deemed 'unnecessary' with a layoff by the end of the season Insufficient training WorkPlace Bullying: supervisor (maybe he had problems he couldn't leave at the door) because he had more seniority and was recently promoted I was seen as more expendable. Fair and Ethical treatment went totally down the drain with this super. He should be expected to set a positive example for his subordinates. Leopards never change their spots. As a steadfast employee, there were not enough benefits for my retention; the unsavory behavior incited from the super encouraged my resignation.
