Horrible - Hostess HMSHost Employee Review

Speaking only for the restaurant side of things that I've seen. -Hire managers that have no idea what they are doing. -Managers pick obvious favorites. -HR is almost impossible to get a hold of. -The majority of managers just sit around all day talking and eating free comped food (or food they just take from the kitchen) while one manager is stuck doing most of the work. -The managers expect you to work while they just sit around doing nothing. -Even though you're schedule to a certain time they will cut you at four hours. -Hired as a full-time employee but they only schedule you to work one day. -Sent home at your four hours when you don't want to because it's slow, when you ask to leave at four hour when it's slow they say you can't. -Managers don't bother to call and tell you when you're taken off of the schedule or when you're put back on the schedule. -If you filled out an application with one address and then moved before you were hired, and told them that the address on the application was wrong, and filled out everything else with your current address they will only use your old address, you have to call the company that handles benefits yourself to correct the address (even though THEY were the ones to mess it up), and you will have to go in on your own time to tell HR about the address change. -Managers will tell workers not to wear shoes that expose the top of your foot and to have your hair tied back when they don't.
