Pros

They provided me with a wealth of knowledge on the product that I sale now. The long shifts that were given to me on a daily basis taught me how to work productivily and efficiently. These same shifts caused me to realize how patient I can be with people.

Cons

Host has a plethora of downfalls, 1 being there is no upward mobility throughout the company. They have thousands of jobs throughout the world and only a few hundred are deemed fit for their employment. Their shifts are long and strenous, and they found a way to turn 40 hour work weeks into 80 hour work weeks. Ie you'll have to almost kill yourself in order to get pvertime pay and benefits. I was with host for 2 years and it took them that long to offer me full time pay and benefits. Their loyalty towards you goes as far you can see them. Host atleast the one here in Atlanta are spinless coward.
