Pros
The pay is pretty solid. Sometimes a good portion of your check comes from just sitting and waiting for crews to get in your vehicle. This location drives brand new Suburbans and Yukons. You're not being hassled by higher ups all the time. You can nap on the job. If you're looking to get on with the railroad, you can get a unique look at what that would look like.
Cons
You're on call 5 days a week with the option/sometime plea to work one of your weekend days. You know this going in though, so I don't get why it's spearheading so many complaints on Glass Door. I could see this job totally sucking with the wrong kind of management though, so maybe I lucked out. No holiday pay rate during your first 90 days. You have to calculate time (I know, right?) Some months can be slower than others, so save up for those times if you do get on. They'll totally work with you getting a second job though. Ooh, diet! It's tough to manage in this line of work. If you find a sweet beat, let me know.
