Pros

Front line staff are caring.

Cons

Leadership culture does not consistently demonstrate respect for physician expertise or professional boundaries. Physicians may experience top-down decision-making with limited transparency or collaboration. There appears to be high turnover in physician leadership roles, which can disrupt continuity of care and program stability. Communication at times feels reactive rather than supportive, and concerns raised by physicians are not always addressed constructively.

Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback. We appreciate your recognition of our front-line staff and the care they provide every day—that commitment is something we value deeply. We take the concerns raised about leadership culture, communication, and physician engagement very seriously. Respect for physician expertise, professional boundaries, and meaningful collaboration are essential to delivering high-quality care and maintaining organizational stability. Feedback such as yours helps us identify areas where we must do better. We acknowledge that consistency in leadership approach, transparency in decision-making, and constructive responsiveness to physician concerns are critical, particularly during periods of change. Leadership continuity and communication practices are actively being evaluated, and we are committed to strengthening how physician voices are incorporated into decision processes. This includes examining leadership effectiveness, improving feedback mechanisms, and supporting a culture of mutual respect and partnership. Our goal is to foster an environment where physicians feel heard, supported, and engaged—not only in clinical practice but in shaping the future of our organization. We appreciate you raising these points and remain committed to continued improvement.

Pros

The teamwork between nurses is great.

Cons

The nurses at Center City are on strike if that says anything about the business. The relationship between nurses and counselors is very strained. Also unsafe working environments due to patients getting in fights or bringing in contraband and not getting discharged. They need more mental health workers, but they are on a hiring freeze for that right now and it is absolutely killing us. The business only cares about money and it is very obvious. Many patients are racist towards others and nothing comes of that either.
