Pros

Patient contact. It’s rewarding to see the change of the patients from when they admit to discharge.

Cons

Where do I begin. This place has been mismanaged since Mark Mishek became CEO. They have done many cutbacks and layoffs to many times in the last two years.

Thanks for leaving this review. I'm disappointed you've had such a negative experience working for the organization; you are a part of live-saving work, and it's regrettable that you do not feel valued. I hope that you have detailed your complaints through our internal processes as well, such as regular rounding meetings, Town Halls, the "Ask Mark" email, and the Ethics Connection. You can also email socialmedia(at)hazeldenbettyford.org to elaborate on each of the 1-star areas you marked.

Pros

The teamwork between nurses is great.

Cons

The nurses at Center City are on strike if that says anything about the business. The relationship between nurses and counselors is very strained. Also unsafe working environments due to patients getting in fights or bringing in contraband and not getting discharged. They need more mental health workers, but they are on a hiring freeze for that right now and it is absolutely killing us. The business only cares about money and it is very obvious. Many patients are racist towards others and nothing comes of that either.
