Pros

- Lead teachers were paid well. - In the time I was there we also received several bonuses as encouragement to continue to work hard. - Some summers they try to work with unemployment to give their teachers special breaks (like not having to do the job search to receive unemployment).

Cons

- They have a point system where you receive points for being late, leaving early, or taking time off outside the time given (they gave 1 day per month for sick time). Once you reach the point limit (which is not very high), you are let go. Your circumstances do not matter. - Lead teachers are held accountable for literally everything that happens in their classrooms. - They advertise having lots of time to do the necessary paperwork, but then end up filling a fair amount of the half day Friday times with meetings and trainings. This leaves teachers feeling like they do not have enough time to complete everything they want you to complete. - Very basic training and then an expectation that you will teach yourself many other things based on them "providing access" to tons of policies and procedures they expect you to follow. The handbook alone is 150 pages long.
