Pros

Great place to learn and develop a diverse set of skills related to aerospace. Very fast paced work environment with major program changes which leads to excellent problem solving skills due to lack of company legacy. You have access to the best analysis tools and depending on team good access to relevant aerospace experience. If willing you will learn to develop your own tools in Python. Good salary.

Cons

The company has a tendency to pivot to the unknown instead of solving important technical problems which has created a cycle without technical progress. Although a small company the decision making is unclear and top-down which has led to strategic mistakes as senior management lacks aerospace experience. Uneven level of department capabilites and experience. At times a dishonest environment where large issues are known but purposefully hidden. No job security.

Pros

Heart is an exciting and fun place to work. The team is top notch and everyone is into the mission. The chance to work on clean sheet aircraft is rare.

Cons

You have to be willing to take on big challenges. Engineers have to be self directed - this may be a bad fit for some.

Pros

Our company is on a mission to democratize and decarbonize regional air mobility, and we're moving fast to make it happen. We have an incredibly bright future, and we're the only company on the market operating in this specific, high-impact portion of the industry. This is a unique opportunity to shape a new era of aviation. We've recently made a strategic pivot to vertically integrate complex and expensive systems, which has been a game-changer. This move not only solidifies our market position but also directly translates to reduced operating costs for commercial airlines. Our engineering teams are rapidly scaling up in the Los Angeles area, and leadership is incredibly supportive of engineering. This is an environment where you'll be encouraged to innovate and own your work.

Cons

It's a very fast-paced, dynamic workplace, and you'll get to wear a lot of hats. If you thrive on variety, solving complex problems, and seeing the direct impact of your contributions, you'll love it here. However, it's worth noting that this dynamic environment isn't for everyone. If you're ready to tackle big challenges and help build the future of flight, we're the right place for you.
