Pros
I've been with the company for about two years now, and I love the people and the opportunities for career growth here. As a remote employee, I have found it a very welcoming and inclusive atmosphere, which has made it easy to get involved in many company initiatives in spite of my location. Little perks like early release, catered lunches (often times with gift cards stipends for remote folks), great company swag and even bonus days off on occasion are awesome, and they really do matter. Most importantly, I find our leadership team to be very approachable and supportive of new ideas. Having worked in several other companies along the way, I really value this attribute and it plays a huge role in my happiness.
Cons
This is a transitional time for the company, and as such there are some natural feelings of uncertainty for some employees. As a person who has been through similar kinds of change at other companies, I encourage those concerned to keep sharing their ideas and actively contributing as our products and strategy continue to evolve.
