Possibility to be great with better focus - Manager/Director Huntington Learning Centers Employee Review

Pros

Competitive wage. Building relationships with school counselors, teachers, families that decide to cave into the Huntington program. Training is better than most companies.

Cons

Job Security. Micromanaged. The business changed during the virus in 2020 but I also think the Huntington model could've been altered to make the "Managing Director" position essential for the business and recruiting students for online tutoring during this time of school being out. Only 1 other FT employee, the assistant director, which is also family member of the owner. Most teachers/tutors are retired or older because younger teachers/tutors arent willing to work for the $10-12/hr wages. High stress due to long work hours. Usually 10+ hours/day
