Pros

Flexible schedule. People are nice. You get 12 free nights a year. Commissions. You can be a remote agent. Great managers.

Cons

It's a phone job. You sometimes feel like you can't breathe because of back to back calls. You have to offer a Hyatt Credit Card to almost every caller. People who get upset and ask for a manager are given to you. If they still don't feel your responses for sufficient you can transfer them to the next "manager". Promoting up sometimes feels like a pay cut since you can make more on the phones.

Pros

The comp night offerings were great and compensation was fair. If you meet quota you get a bonus

Cons

This likely varies between properties depending on hotel management. Everyone in the events and sales departments are overworked, so employee turnover is high, which just compounds the issue. Management has difficulty accepting feedback from employees and often promotes the yes-men. No PTO in the first year leads to quick burnout
