Pros
Good work environment, lost of opportunities to learn, experiment, grow and improve. As the first HR Manager at Innovo, I had the chance to not only learn a lot about a new industry but also how to run an HR department and keep the company flowing smoothly during a global pandemic. I felt empowered by senior management to implement HR best practices, to develop new training programs and policies. The company has a great culture where senior management is always concerned about developing its employees and teaching them so they can feel confident in making decisions as it is a very fast pace kind of business that asks for nothing more than perfection and innovation. Employees are encourage to share opinions and ideas as well as questioning the status quo proposing better, (cost) effective, efficient solutions. Everyone had to adapt, support and help each other, it was a big team effort where all pieces were equally important. Salary and benefits are fair.
Cons
It was an unprecedent year with the pandemic surrounding everyone from all directions so, some days, it was hard to keep work/life balance (specially senior management) and keep the company running without having to put some extra hours. But, again, it was a total different scenario where things were changing every day in regards to health of employees.
