You can learn a lot from working here, both in your job and from your coworkers. A lot of people organize brown-bag lunch seminars on topics they know or projects they are working on to share their progress or what they've learned. That's been a really nice way for me to learn about what others are working on or know about. This is also a place where I feel like I can refer my friends to work.. I've pulled in a friend from a previous company now to work here and the $2000 referral bonus gave us a wild night on the town after they started.
Cons
Leadership doesn't always plan for the growth they ask the team to deliver, which sometimes makes it hard to see how we'll achieve the success that we want. If we plan for 80% of our goal we might wind up hitting 90% of the goal, not 110%.
