Pros

Great company. It’s almost like having a second family. The local office is so understanding. Fun office environment. Great benefits! Company cares so much about its residents.

Cons

People don’t really leave so you not much room for growth. Which if you think about it, is a good and bad thing.

Thank you for your review! I love that you're having the true Invitation Homes experience that the majority of our current employees have - family, fun, great pay and benefits, and that genuine care spirit that drives everything we do. Good point about the retention rate making it hard for Associates to achieve growth. When I'm faced with a feeling that I'm not being stretched in a role, I always try to find other ways to learn and grow - maybe it's volunteering for a culture or community effort, maybe it's taking some training classes to learn a new skill, maybe it's asking someone if you can spend an hour or two learning about what they do every day and why it's important. The opportunities are endless. And the great news is that people here are very willing to help out!

Pros

Compensation. Bonuses. Holiday pay. Benefits. Team building days. office parties.

Cons

If you are unbothered and don't get stressed out easily - go for it. I could not. little training. quantity over quality. constant sense of urgency. never feeling accomplished or that tasks were completed. mostly dealing with angry residents. responsibilities plus the phone queue was unmanageable. one or the other please. constant policy changes and having to explain that to residents.
