Smaller defense tech company. Less red-tape than primes, engineer's dream dev environment. Oweness is on you to identify, execute, and deliver. Dream up your own solutions, and bring them to life. None of the whole "it has always been done this way, so learn how to do it this way". Hybrid / Remote opportunities are usually available.
Cons
Vacation days accrue a bit slowly, though I could have pushed a little harder during interview phase to barter for quicker accrual or higher starting days in store. Currently getting bought out by GDIT, so health benefits will be more expensive.
