Pros

My supervisors and managers were usually very nice people who genuinely liked the product we were selling.

Cons

At the end of the night the manager/supervisor closing the shift had too many tasks to complete while the rest of the workers had to hang around and fold for hours until allowed to leave. Also, I personally did not absolutely love the product I was selling, and found that the quality of some items were sub-par.

Pros

Good time-off package. Holiday week off for office employees. Historically respected work-life balance and flexible working. Good employee discount and maternity leave.

Cons

C-suite pushing a mandatory 3 days in-office after 5+ years of boasting flexibility as a cornerstone of their employee benefits package. Lack of clear and thoughtful communication of this new policy was frustrating and disheartening as an employee. Leadership, starting with the CEO, is at an all-time low of the last 6 years of working in their corporate office. Horrifying to see how poorly initiatives are getting rolled out, likely getting pushed down from board of directors. Would anticipate a rough transition into the company if you choose to take a role replacing the dozens of employees possibly being forced to leave the company due to RTO.
