Pros

Working with customers, generous discount

Cons

Worked as a stylist for a short while. Based on the relatively pleasant interview, I assumed the position would be pretty straightforward and enjoyable. But boy, was I wrong. From snobby management to staff throwing insults to new hires (including myself) for not adding the proper discounts to items, it soon became a job I hated. Needless to say, it got the the point where I could not stay any longer. Even though I was treated poorly I left the position in a professional manner, I was puzzled when my last paystub was for only 4 hours of work, when I had worked 30 hours that week. This became a long dispute which I had finally won, but please, if you care about your mental health and overall wellbeing, DO NOT WORK HERE.

Pros

There are a lot of talented, hardworking people at this company, which makes recent leadership decisions even more frustrating.

Cons

Communication around major organizational changes has been vague and inconsistent, leaving employees with significant uncertainty and little confidence in the direction of the business. Morale has declined considerably. Many employees feel that years of experience, performance, and institutional knowledge are being undervalued in favor of rigid policies and top-down decision making.
