Pros

-Fairly good discounts, some are steeper at different parts of the year -Half of management is okay, lower managers are friendlier and easier to be around -Not as tight on making individual sales -Generally a friendly environment and working with sales associates is fun -Flexible -Company HR is very good with handling complaints and comments

Cons

-Company is failing and closing stores, customers always ask about the fate of your own store -Seems that management at the board level is disastrous and that the design team is really hit or miss on products -Upper echelons of a store's management are quite anal retentive -Store was in disarray for two years until they were called out to HR in New York -Poor opportunity for raises

Pros

Good time-off package. Holiday week off for office employees. Historically respected work-life balance and flexible working. Good employee discount and maternity leave.

Cons

C-suite pushing a mandatory 3 days in-office after 5+ years of boasting flexibility as a cornerstone of their employee benefits package. Lack of clear and thoughtful communication of this new policy was frustrating and disheartening as an employee. Leadership, starting with the CEO, is at an all-time low of the last 6 years of working in their corporate office. Horrifying to see how poorly initiatives are getting rolled out, likely getting pushed down from board of directors. Would anticipate a rough transition into the company if you choose to take a role replacing the dozens of employees possibly being forced to leave the company due to RTO.
