Pros

Amazing discounts. Regular priced items all 30% off, sale stuff is 50%, and every week there's a list of stuff that's 60% off. The employees there are good people too.

Cons

On-call shifts. You can't plan to do something on a scheduled on-call shift day because you might work and you'll only know 2 hours ahead of time (of your shift). The hours are sooo inconsistent. Part time I was hoping for ~20 hours, instead some weeks I'd only work 6 hours others only 12. They don't care about part-time employees. Horrible commission too. Only .05%!

Pros

Good time-off package. Holiday week off for office employees. Historically respected work-life balance and flexible working. Good employee discount and maternity leave.

Cons

C-suite pushing a mandatory 3 days in-office after 5+ years of boasting flexibility as a cornerstone of their employee benefits package. Lack of clear and thoughtful communication of this new policy was frustrating and disheartening as an employee. Leadership, starting with the CEO, is at an all-time low of the last 6 years of working in their corporate office. Horrifying to see how poorly initiatives are getting rolled out, likely getting pushed down from board of directors. Would anticipate a rough transition into the company if you choose to take a role replacing the dozens of employees possibly being forced to leave the company due to RTO.
