Pros

-Great discounts on items in store (50-60% discounts) -Company offers free meals during Holiday seasons -Flexible work hours -The store is usually not that busy

Cons

-Disorganized, each manager will tell you different things every shift -Sale quotes to meet every hour, and during quiet times throughout the day, meeting sales is impossible/unlikely -If you can't meet your sale quotes, the managers won't give you shifts -Managers are usually very helpful and nice, but you will have a few bad apples who are just tedious to work with -Coworkers will steal sales in order to meet their sale goals -Managers will cut your shifts short if the store isn't busy

Pros

Good time-off package. Holiday week off for office employees. Historically respected work-life balance and flexible working. Good employee discount and maternity leave.

Cons

C-suite pushing a mandatory 3 days in-office after 5+ years of boasting flexibility as a cornerstone of their employee benefits package. Lack of clear and thoughtful communication of this new policy was frustrating and disheartening as an employee. Leadership, starting with the CEO, is at an all-time low of the last 6 years of working in their corporate office. Horrifying to see how poorly initiatives are getting rolled out, likely getting pushed down from board of directors. Would anticipate a rough transition into the company if you choose to take a role replacing the dozens of employees possibly being forced to leave the company due to RTO.
