Pros

Standards, quality of product, expectations, opportunities

Cons

Completely depends on the dynamics of store director and associate managers. It has all the potential pitfalls and disadvantages of any retail job, unfortunately. Despite being optimistic it does not set itself apart. Don't expect emotional intelligence. Kind of funny how one manager thinks you're great and another has a problem with everything you do. That is a sign of a bad manager, but an especially unprofessional manager when they bad mouth you to others.

Pros

Good time-off package. Holiday week off for office employees. Historically respected work-life balance and flexible working. Good employee discount and maternity leave.

Cons

C-suite pushing a mandatory 3 days in-office after 5+ years of boasting flexibility as a cornerstone of their employee benefits package. Lack of clear and thoughtful communication of this new policy was frustrating and disheartening as an employee. Leadership, starting with the CEO, is at an all-time low of the last 6 years of working in their corporate office. Horrifying to see how poorly initiatives are getting rolled out, likely getting pushed down from board of directors. Would anticipate a rough transition into the company if you choose to take a role replacing the dozens of employees possibly being forced to leave the company due to RTO.
