Pros

Co-workers are relatively nice. So that’s that.

Cons

Business is struggling. Desperately trying to find their identity. Relying on constant sales. There’s not enough POC on every team, especially in management. Those who been there for years tend to have their cliques and speak their own language. Constant lack of communication from managers that you feel like you have to read people’s mind. There are lulls in work and then there are crazy days so no consistency. Also did I say there are so few people of color?

Pros

Good time-off package. Holiday week off for office employees. Historically respected work-life balance and flexible working. Good employee discount and maternity leave.

Cons

C-suite pushing a mandatory 3 days in-office after 5+ years of boasting flexibility as a cornerstone of their employee benefits package. Lack of clear and thoughtful communication of this new policy was frustrating and disheartening as an employee. Leadership, starting with the CEO, is at an all-time low of the last 6 years of working in their corporate office. Horrifying to see how poorly initiatives are getting rolled out, likely getting pushed down from board of directors. Would anticipate a rough transition into the company if you choose to take a role replacing the dozens of employees possibly being forced to leave the company due to RTO.
