Pros

I worked in the Toronto office so experience may vary. Overall, it was an excellent opportunity but unfortunately, I had to leave due to family reasons. -Excellent work culture: Play hard & Work hard -Flex hours after 3 months -The entire office is very supportive and understanding whether it is co-worker or management -You win = We win mentality -Frequent hangouts at local pubs with the entire office (management pays once in a while too!) -Excellent training regiment to teach how to be a good technical recruiter, whether you have previous knowledge in technology or not -This role taught me how to be more resilient to negative people, become business orientated, assertive, and skillful in conversations -The Path (the building is connected with an underground path that is connected to Queens Subway station and there are great restaurants/food courts along the way so you don't ever have really go outside during the cold winters or hot summers)

Cons

-Downtown Toronto office (you must consider the commitment and commute for you suburb friends) -Rejection is part of the job (prepare for candidates and clients to reject you or act like divas. if you have an iron will, it won't bother you as much but you can also learn to take in rejection as I did) -This depends on who you are but it is very money-driven. This can be a pro or a con, but since there is sales work in this position it requires you to have a hunger to make money

Pros

Young Money..... Get ready to make bank. Once you walk across the hot coals, you earn between 95 - 120K. The Crew...... There are no words. The most interesting, intelligent, & just plain fun people you will find. Happy hours, team nights, flip-cup in the office, black tie events, & a Halloween taken so seriously it's almost weird. No Red Tape..... Entrepreneurs & Innovators Welcomed That being said, full-desk is a difficult job. Not for the weak. The Training...... A 12 to 16 Month Sales Bootcamp. You will sweat. You will cry. But when it's all said and done, you come out a storm.

Cons

Rapid Growth and constant change. For some, this would be tough. Benefits.... Don't blow me away. Smile and Dial...... Happy Hunting. A blessing and a curse. You source and research your own leads, pick up your own clients, and cold call to get there. You learn to work smart and hard. Transparently, this is the most difficult part of our job. Once a recruiter masters this, they tend to take off.
