Pros

40% on all items, including items already on sale as well as Doc Martens, which NEVER go on sale. You're able to use that 40% discount on $2500 WORTH of merchandise, and it renews on your work anniversary.

Cons

Pay will be on the VERY low end of "competitive", starting somewhere around $13/hr. They use an Attendance Points system, which is designed to keep people from moving up and/or to create higher turnover and keep wages low. Full-Time employees are terminated after 4 points, but Part-Time employees get 12 points before termination. Even if you have PTO, if you need to leave partway through a shift, you will be assessed at least 1/2 point. If you are assessed any points during a quarter, you will not be eligible for the quarterly "merit increase", which is literally $0.25. You will also be ineligible for the $0.25 increase if you do not meet a QA average, and QA's rules and requirements are CONSTANTLY changing. QA also places equal weight on misusing a comma and failing to verify billing information. "We're a family!" mindset; this means "we expect you to never question the authority of management", not "we all respect each other". Promotions and transfers to other teams have an unspoken "hidden secret": just be popular with the leadership. If you win the popularity contest, you get what you want. They do not differentiate between Sick Time and PTO. If you take PTO, it will affect whether you get a promotion or transfer to a different team, and they may or may not even bother to "advise" you of that. Blackout Periods (in which you CANNOT request PTO for ANY reason, unless you're a middle-manager or above) include back-to-school and holiday, and the dates are different every year. Each one is 8 weeks long, so pretty much from mid-July to mid-Sept and mid-Nov to mid-Jan. If you're from out of state, you will not get to see your family for these dates unless they come to you. This is illustrated in my other points, but this company is FILLED with massive, massive amounts of micromanagement. You will be treated like a child.
