Pros
Good culture. Your team is very helpful to you. External stakeholder may try to sabotage you or play politics with you. But basically your own team member will help you if you need help. Fun to surround with your colleagues. Other than about work, this is a great company to be in, in general. Management is friendly and approachable. Definitely a great place to work in albeit it being very stressful. May return in another department in future.
Cons
Extreme workload and not enough compensation. Student always comes first. Tho culture is good, colleagues are generally friendly and helpful but when faced with difficult student it’s always to appease the student every step of the way. Everyone mostly OT after working hours or leave office after 30minutes work ends and continue your work after. Work is not realistic also, sometimes it’s very hard to finish work within office hour due to so many things coming out.
