Pros

- A lot of the non-lead role employees are kind - Decent stepping stone to find work elsewhere in the logistics field

Cons

Starting off, a couple teamwide meetings ago, the location manager told us that people were complaining about the company online via reviews and said to not do that and instead to just leave. So instead of considering the opinions of their workers so as to potentially improve, they'd rather you not voice your opinion at all. Favortism is another issue here, its easy to find exactly who to "befriend" if you want a fast track to promotions. I've witnessed this several times and its linked to the same two individuals. Lastly, the pay here is not competitive to what other companies offer, especially when weighed against their expectations given the current state port logistics, very outdated OS for performing tasks, and the outdated workplace preferences. They JUST purchased a second office space because they insist people come in to work jobs that have been done well remotely for the past two years now. Training is another weak point. Lovely trainers, bad execution. This is a quota-based job at the end of the day where you may get to be a teamlead for a modest pay-bump and/or move to another location for a vertical or lateral if you can overachieve.

Pros

Very elementary level work for an experienced inventory specialist Lots of independent work Great work life balance with 3 and 4 day work weeks

Cons

Too easy and repetitive Hard work only gets you so far If you start through a staffing agency you have to work 9 months straight with perfect attendance to get benefits. Rarely any raises or bonuses Low pay
