coworkers (techs and assistants) are wonderful people

Cons

no real PTO until you work there 3 years. get 40 hours (so 1 week) which is the state required 'sick leave". very short staffed. never leave on time, frequently 1-2 hours past end of shift. rarely get lunch at a reasonable time, if at all. often no breaks before 3pm (after starting at 7am), occationally no break at all. NO opportunities for career growth. They say they are different that other vet med corporations, but really it is all about $$$ and they do not care about employees, especially support staff.

I love the environment . I learn so much from all the team members. Everyone is very dedicated to giving knowledgeable, compassionate care to the animals. I am encouraged by the team and I love going to work.
