Pros
The clinic staff I worked with were welcoming, kind, supportive and fun to be around. I wish they were better supported by management because they deserve far more than they're getting.
Cons
- Upper management is inept and has little interest in putting forth effort to resolve issues effectively. - There is absolutely NO training program, guideline, timeline or protocol for new hospital administrators. I was sold on a robust training program that would only take a couple months to get through. I ended up still in training with no end date projected after eight months by the time I left. When I asked management for help, because my trainers had no idea what to do with me (to the point where they'd sometimes just send me home to get me out of their hair), our regional manager, my direct supervisor, would brush me aside or straight up ignore me for weeks on end. - I witnessed a pretty severe HR violation within my very first week there. Despite my worries about reporting it, I did. That was when my direct supervisor started treating me poorly. I hate to think that was the cause, but what else am I supposed to think? - There were many things said or promised to me in my interview that either never came to fruition or were contradicted entirely. They were dishonest with me about a lot when they hired me. I genuinely feel like I was duped into wasting eight months of my life there. Overall, one of the worst job experiences I've ever had. Run for the hills.
