Pros

Depending on what division you work for, you are either treated as a valued employee by middle management or as a commodity. The interpretation division has grown to be the main staple of the business and the translation division struggles for marketing support and recognition outside of election season. There are many talented people who work on the "front lines" however management fails recognize their importance until they walk out the door for the last time. Peers of the "front line" employee seem to understand the main issues and have built a good network of unofficial communication. The COO is one of the few voices of reason in the company.

Cons

Leadership, especially of sales, is short-sighted and flies by the seat of its pants. Communication is highly limited from leadership with very little transparent communication. Inept employees with previous legal issues are sometimes valued more than capable, revenue producing employees. The Sales department seems to run by the philosophy of "promise the moon and figure out how to get there later."
