I have so much to say about this company. First and foremost I was blessed to work with an amazing team, but higher up cooperation and how this company is ran is where the issue stands. It’s quite sickening to really see through the company as a whole and how they work. Basically when you’re a nurse here, you’re put at the bottom of the barrel. The Patient Care Coordinators have a quota they make every month so it forces them to sell an absurd amount which then forces the nurses to have an extremely packed and unrealistic schedule. This isn’t laziness, these are nurses trying to perfect their craft and take their time with patients to have the best results. This company barely allows time for any of that. They have double and triple booking which causes stress in the nurses. This could cause many mistakes which could lead to risking license if it gets to that point. They know exactly what they are doing, hiring nurses with no experience to train their way, work them like a dog with no PTO hours, and know that they can keep them and work them so hard by barely letting them have time off but they have decent hourly pay. This is where the nurses who are new coming into aesthetics get stuck. The pay is great, they get trained, and they get handed patients. But how much of this is really worth it when corporate is clearly dragging us like dogs to make sales? And to complete injection patients in 15 minutes!? They care about quantity not quality. This is crazy. Not only are the nurses struggling, the PCCs just had their commission structure drop suddenly. This created so much stress and drive for sales because they are also receiving less than they were before. All for what? So corporate and higher ups can feed off of their employees more? And I hope more people recognize how unethical this place is and will continue to be. I hate to read the replies from Laseraway in general because there is truly a pattern of those who feel the same way and they are trying to cover for it and do absolutely nothing about it. It’s unacceptable and frustrating to say the least. You also accrue about 6 hours in PTO a month, you are required to have the amount of PTO in your bank TWO months before you take the time off, and even then, you still could get rejected. This PTO structure is strict to make sure that it is extremely hard to have time off. Even when PTO is submitted months in advance, they still may refuse. So if you come here, prepare to have no work life balance whatsoever. If I would have known all of this in the first place, I would have never gotten a job here, no matter how bad I wanted to be an aesthetic nurse. Who knew that you could get burnt out at a Medspa.
