Pros

Free Treatments, some good coworkers, intro to aesthetic industry.

Cons

Where do i even begin? I cannot stand this company. I have never felt like less of a human then working here. I work in clinic and everyday there’s some new change that just screws us over, like changing our 10% threshold to 65k (when most pcc’s in my region barely crack 45) management are corporate robots who don’t care about you and only care about numbers at the end of the day. You’re constantly told to upsell people treatments they just do not need or quite frankly don’t even work because the nurses are not trained well and are even more overworked, so most don’t even take pride in their work. Remote constantly breaks rules and no one does anything about it, and yet they’re rewarded with more and more SOP guidelines that only benefit them (even though in clinic is the only reason this business is possible to run, you would think they would value us a bit more) just for perspective. You will also work every single weekend and have the absolute worst shift which is 12-8, which quite frankly is a huge slap in the face because you’re essentially spending your entire day in a run down clinic. They track how many calls your making even though they all just go to voicemail or you get hung up on because these people have already been bombarded with spam calls 500x over. You also have zero work life balance, your whole life will become about laseraway and before you know it you’ve been your entire week in a clinic with people who want to be there even less then you do.

Pros

Competitive pay and strong training for new aesthetic providers. You’ll gain experience quickly because of the high patient volume.

Cons

LaserAway is a sales company disguised as a medical practice. Revenue consistently comes before patient care and provider well-being. Providers are routinely triple booked, making it nearly impossible to give patients the time and attention they deserve. Rushing through consultations and treatments creates unnecessary stress, increases burnout, and can compromise patient safety. Sales consultants have more influence than licensed medical professionals. Treatments are frequently sold before a provider even evaluates the patient, and nurses are often expected to justify or perform services they may not believe are appropriate. Medical opinions are routinely overshadowed by sales goals. The culture prioritizes quotas, memberships, and packages over ethical, patient-centered care. The PTO policy is extremely poor. Full-time employees receive only about 1.5 weeks of PTO per year, yet you’re expected to keep your schedule open seven days a week. You cannot submit unavailability or reliably schedule appointments in advance without using your already limited PTO. Maintaining any work-life balance is unnecessarily difficult.
