Pros
Starting a career at LaserAway was one of the best decisions I have ever made. It is a family run company that really believes in its employees. The Executive team is involved in the day to day, and they really take notice on ways to improve the lives of their team. I can't imagine another company out there with a CEO that is so approachable and helpful. The Medical Directors are actual Board-Certified Dermatologists (something that should be common, but isn't in the world of aesthetics) and they are approachable, helpful, and knowledgeable. I have never worked with a Doctor that answers my calls as quickly as my Medical Director does, and I always feel supported. LaserAway also provides comprehensive and evidence-based training for all clinicians, so even new graduates have the opportunity to get their careers started in aesthetics.
Cons
The clinics are open 7 days a week, and weekend work is expected/required for every employee, whether its an hourly clinician or a supervisor. As supervisors, we might not be in the clinic the full weekend, but we are always available if there are any concerns that emerge. I believe you should be there to support your team, and I don't see this as a con, but if you are looking for a Monday-Friday job where you can "clock out" every weekend, this might not be the company/job/career for you.
