LeadVenture suffers from a lack of consistency and follow-through. The management style is rigid and linear, stifling innovation and creating a toxic atmosphere. Managers often badmouth their staff behind their backs to other team members, which undermines relationships and trust within the team. Management frequently communicates certain expectations but fails to follow through with the actions or support they promised, leaving employees in the dark. When expectations shift without notice, employees are held accountable for things they were never properly informed about, creating a gaslighting effect where they’re made to feel responsible for unmet, unclear goals. Leadership is weak, with managers lacking the expertise of their teams. Instead of supporting employees, management focuses more on micromanagement and office politics than fostering creativity. Favoritism is rampant, with former colleagues managers brought in with them from other companies receiving preferential treatment, while hardworking employees, not of her choosing, are frequently overlooked. Additionally, the VP of my department used branded materials from her previous employers as templates, raising ethical concerns. The hierarchical structure restricts communication, preventing employees from engaging with higher-level VPs outside their immediate command. For a technology company, it’s surprising how many employees don’t fully understand the products they’re selling. It's also frustrating that department heads resist modern project management tools, opting for outdated, ineffective methods that hinder efficiency. Finally, the product quality is poor, making it difficult to support. Eerily, there’s a culture of fear where employees are hesitant to speak up for fear of jeopardizing their jobs. Ultimately, office politics outweigh performance, leading to an environment where talent and hard work are undervalued.
