Pros
It's a paycheck. Flexible start time.
Cons
Oh where to even begin. Managers, supervisors and leads gossip about employees where other people can hear. They pick their favorites and target, belittle and demean those that are not in the clique. There are other choices for office work(billing/coding etc) in a healthcare setting and my advice is to look elsewhere. They claim they want employees to feel like they can go to management for assistance (open door policy) but if you do beware as if your issue is with another person/lead/supervisor that person will be told exactly what you reported and then if they are your superior/boss they will be out to make your life a misery. These areas are constantly hiring and there is a reason for that as no one wants to work in a place where the rules change depending on who you are and who's friend you are. Micromanaging is a fact and if someone doesn't like you they will quite literally watch your every move including if you get coffee or use the restroom and you will get called out for leaving your desk. Above all do not talk to anyone either because that is the ultimate sin. I find it funny how emails and all the platitudes via the 'intranet' are always saying they want employees to feel like a team and yet don't dare talk to your co-workers. If you enjoy being gossiped about and bad mouthed by those above you enjoy by all means apply.
