Very Difficult to Move Up in this company - Emergency Department Legacy Health Employee Review

Pros

Hard to say anything positive when there is no recognition or incentive or room to grow no matter your performance.

Cons

Nothing is based on performance and everyone is paid a 3% annual increase. There is no reward system and people only care about the weekend. People live by the clock and when they will go home. Very little encouragement from managers and pay is low so employees don't try to care about each other. People complain about the littlest things to their office managers about each other, and this is more of a child's school than a pro career environment. People have no motivation and are burnt out, patient care has gone down and cost have gone up as well as physician bonuses. Everyone in management thinks a pizza day will make up how employees really feel.

Pros

Not much to say anymore.

Cons

My first couple years here, I used to like this place but it's really going downhill fast. They are in the hole financially but instead of cutting pay for the millionaire executives (at a non-profit?!), they are now going to force people to use 2 weeks of leave at Christmas. And if someone doesn't have enough leave, they will be required to take unpaid. This is a "legal" loophole that should be illegal. They also don't believe in merit raises, instead giving a 2% across the board raise regardless of whether the person earns it. Some people work hard, while others barely work, and we all get the same 2% "raise"? This ship is sinking, so get out while you can and avoid at all costs.
