Pros

Bldg is nice, trauma bounding with your fellow coworkers

Cons

Company is more concerned about income by driving up census but not increasing staffing needs. Company was also hacked and my personal data was compromised, took the company far too long to inform us. We found out via the internet. Lots of staff turnover. Head chef is full of himself and is not a team player. This is a 4 story building and the elevators are always breaking.

Pros

The residents are the pros. I enjoy taking care of them and making them happy.

Cons

Expecting a 5 star hospitality experience with instantaneous response times for every resident. Management does not help when there are staffing shortages. They won’t help answer call bells or assist in the kitchen. Legend wants to run the shift with the bare minimums for staff to resident ratios. Having to be an aide changing soiled briefs to then passing meals in the dining room is insanitary. They want you to do extra work but don’t want to pay overtime. Your shift is for 8 hours minus 30 minutes for an unpaid meal break that you must take. So you never get a 40 hour work week pay, only 37.5.
