Pros

It looks like LSL finally figured out the internet exists.

Cons

If you look at the history of reviews over the last six months, it is obvious that most of them are fake and written by the same person. Doubling the amount of positive reviews in that time frame is not realistic when the company atmosphere is still as bad as ever. If you get an interview with this company, run. Do not take a job here. Any job. The fact that they have hired someone to just manage the poor company reviews online instead of trying to fix the terrible company work conditions and culture should tell you everything you need to know about this company. If you have a passion for healthcare, take your talent elsewhere.

We appreciate all associate feedback and want to assure you that we carefully follow Glassdoor’s Community Guidelines. Associates are allowed to submit only one review, per employer, per year, per review type. We encourage you to contact Glassdoor if you think there has been an abuse. It’s true we have taken a more active role in our Glassdoor community in recent months, as part of a larger effort to engage and learn from our teams. Associates are embracing this new level of responsiveness from Legend and we are committed to maintaining it moving forward. We are sorry you did not have a good experience with us and wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.

Pros

The residents are the pros. I enjoy taking care of them and making them happy.

Cons

Expecting a 5 star hospitality experience with instantaneous response times for every resident. Management does not help when there are staffing shortages. They won’t help answer call bells or assist in the kitchen. Legend wants to run the shift with the bare minimums for staff to resident ratios. Having to be an aide changing soiled briefs to then passing meals in the dining room is insanitary. They want you to do extra work but don’t want to pay overtime. Your shift is for 8 hours minus 30 minutes for an unpaid meal break that you must take. So you never get a 40 hour work week pay, only 37.5.
