Tim Buchanan is a egotistical, egocentric, self involved, demoralizing, human. - Anonymous employee Legend Senior Living Employee Review

Pros

Just the residents, and staff......The staff that had the ability to focus on the residents, and ignore ownership, and Senior Management.

Cons

Power obsessed ownership. Example: Tim demands all Senior managers get on their hands and knees to clean dirty baseboards. How demoralizing to see 20+ year professionals being degraded in front of all staff, families, and residents. "We're sitting staff we're willing to help." Nope, it's "we're scared we'll lose our jobs if we don't bow to King Buchanan."

Pros

The residents are the pros. I enjoy taking care of them and making them happy.

Cons

Expecting a 5 star hospitality experience with instantaneous response times for every resident. Management does not help when there are staffing shortages. They won’t help answer call bells or assist in the kitchen. Legend wants to run the shift with the bare minimums for staff to resident ratios. Having to be an aide changing soiled briefs to then passing meals in the dining room is insanitary. They want you to do extra work but don’t want to pay overtime. Your shift is for 8 hours minus 30 minutes for an unpaid meal break that you must take. So you never get a 40 hour work week pay, only 37.5.
