Pros

Individual community is awesome , corporate are horrible people

Cons

Corporate is full of crap they cut hours and don't care about there workers or the residents they are supposed to take care of they cut hours and pay to the bare minimum of state requirements which does not allow the residents to be properly cared for they walked in the community and completely ignored the residents there only concern is making money and the way the building looks they are a morally corrupt company and deserve to be striked against their faulty business practices

We understand your concerns regarding staffing. One of the hallmarks of the entire assisted living industry is the ability to adjust and flex staffing based on the current building census and the specific care needs of the residents there at any given time. Unlike other long-term care models which have high fixed costs, the assisted living model helps ensure that residents and their families pay only for what they need and want. At Legend Senior Living, we follow these best practices of the industry, and we do flex hours and staffing based upon the current needs of residents. We value feedback from our customers and associates. Each residence has 800 numbers posted that you can call to provide additional feedback. Thank you.

Pros

The residents are the pros. I enjoy taking care of them and making them happy.

Cons

Expecting a 5 star hospitality experience with instantaneous response times for every resident. Management does not help when there are staffing shortages. They won’t help answer call bells or assist in the kitchen. Legend wants to run the shift with the bare minimums for staff to resident ratios. Having to be an aide changing soiled briefs to then passing meals in the dining room is insanitary. They want you to do extra work but don’t want to pay overtime. Your shift is for 8 hours minus 30 minutes for an unpaid meal break that you must take. So you never get a 40 hour work week pay, only 37.5.
