Pros

Beginning pay was with the market rate. The management was arrogant.Retirement arrangements and benefits were not adequate. They decreased insurance coverage and increased costs of policy, had to cancel health insurance. No scrubs, would be ok but replaced with uniform that is fine for retail not health care. Too much micro managing.

Cons

It is intense atmosphere, pressure to improve. Management tries to implement changes without consideration of the people who have to implement these changes and affects on residents and employees.

Pros

The residents are the pros. I enjoy taking care of them and making them happy.

Cons

Expecting a 5 star hospitality experience with instantaneous response times for every resident. Management does not help when there are staffing shortages. They won’t help answer call bells or assist in the kitchen. Legend wants to run the shift with the bare minimums for staff to resident ratios. Having to be an aide changing soiled briefs to then passing meals in the dining room is insanitary. They want you to do extra work but don’t want to pay overtime. Your shift is for 8 hours minus 30 minutes for an unpaid meal break that you must take. So you never get a 40 hour work week pay, only 37.5.
